Our advanced camera systems are engineered to provide unparalleled visual tracking capabilities, ensuring that critical operations remain undetected and efficient. These cameras are designed to seamlessly integrate with radar systems, taking over tracking when the radar is turned off to avoid detection. This transition is undetectable, providing a continuous and covert monitoring solution.

Our cameras can precisely follow tracking signals from radar systems, maintaining an uninterrupted and accurate surveillance operation. When radar systems are deactivated to prevent detection, our cameras automatically take over, ensuring ongoing monitoring without revealing their presence. The camera systems are designed to be invisible to enemy infrared (IR) sensors, maintaining the element of surprise and operational security.

Ruggedized Thermal Cameras with High Boresight Accuracy

CST’s thermal night vision cameras are highly ruggedized with specially designed lens, filter and sensor for any combat situation in all environments. CST’s sensor delivers best stay on target with high boresight accuracy for fire control systems. Our long-range camera system is bore-sighted to achieve a precision of 0.1-0.2 mrad boresight retention @NFOV at a temperature range from -40°C to +70°C.

The CST rugged cameras are designed to make it easy for customers to integrate them in large systems for surveillance, security, defense and other entities.

CST is the preferred manufacturer of optronics to major vendors of fire control systems such as Thales, Navantia and SaaB.

Equipped with advanced lens de-icing technology, our cameras are prepared for all weather conditions without the need for heating. Additionally, we are the only manufacturer globally to produce cameras that operate without heating, eliminating the risk of thermal detection.

Products fire control system - Housed solution

Our fire control system cameras are available as open Housed Solutions and are designed to make it easy for system integrators to integrate CST high-end cameras in large systems for surveillance, security, defense or other entities.

The housed solution cameras entail sensor, optics and camera controller, for our customers to easily integrate in their own EO-system. The housed cameras are within the visible band, to operate during day and down to half moonlight conditions and are operational at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.

Open-frame camera

Our fire control system cameras are available as open frame solutions and are designed to make it easy for system integrators to integrate CST high-end cameras in large systems for surveillance, security, defense or other entities.

Copenhagen Sensor Technology A/S (CST) has been awarded a contract with General Dynamics European Land Systems – Mowag (GDELS-Mowag) to provide Local Situational Awareness System (LSAS) for the Irish Defence Forces Piranha III APC upgrade

CST was selected as the preferred supplier by GDELS-Mowag for the LSAS which will provide local situational awareness for each vehicle consisting of both day & night capacity, IR lamps, multi-functional digital displays, matrix and cable set.
