The Magnel 1218 Day Sight System (DSS) is an integrated unit, based on a highly sensitive colour CCD camera and a powerful 18x zoom lens for day/night observation, acquisition and targeting. It is therefore ideally suited for use with Remote Weapon Systems, ground vehicles and telescope masts.

It is designed to deliver high-performance images, even under the harshest conditions, in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.
