Citadel
CITADEL is a family of compact and rugged cameras for Situational Awareness (SITA) on armoured vehicles. The cameras are designed to provide the best image quality, even under the most difficult conditions. The camera is well-protected inside a sturdy and environmentally sealed aluminium housing. Since the design meets MIL-STD-810F, the cameras can be mounted both on wheeled or tracked vehicles (metal tracks).
The CITADEL cameras are at home in the most harsh condition, and will meet the specification across the entire temperature range from -40°C to +70°C. The protective window of the camera housing is heated, to prevent build up of condensation or ice build-up.
CITADEL cameras are available in two basic configurations.
- Single lens cameras with a factory-set horizontal field of up to 112°
- Panoramic camera system (dual cameras integrated in a compact, rugged housing) capable providing a full 170° panoramic field of view, without optical distortion
