1000 mm zoom lens camera system added to SPECTREL range

Providing even more detailed vision for Long-Range Surveillance systems, CST launches the Spectrel 121000 camera system. It features a high-performance 1000 mm motorized zoom lens, with fast-action zoom and focus adjustment. Danish minister of defence visits CST

As part of a campaign by FAD (the Danish Defence and Security Industries Association) to promote export of Danish Defence and Aerospace technology, Mr. Nick Hækkerup, the Danish Minister of Defence, visited CST on a 2 day tour of the Danish defence manufacturers and sub-suppliers.

Mr. Hækkerup commented that he was truly impressed by the high level of know-how represented by CST, and the great potential for export opportunities for Danish defence and aerospace industry, of which CST represents a considerable share.

SPECTREL 1000mm HD camera systems now shipping to customers

The newest addition to the Spectrel family of Long-Range Surveillance Camera Systems, SP-121000/334, is now shipping to customers.
Boasting 33x optical zoom (30 - 1000 mm) and digital HD-SDI interface, the camera system can recognize a human at more than 8km distance. Other prominant features include autofocus, fog penetration and true day/night mode.
The camera system is fully MIL compliant, encased in a hermetically sealed housing, and can therefore be installed in the most harsh environments.
Typical applications include Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), homeland security, mobile observation posts and military camp protection. Click here for full information
